First steps

Hi there ... my first blog ... weird ... not too sure what to say. I believe this Facilitating Online will be great fun and that there is much to be learned ... I'm really looking forward to it ... and to becoming more proficient with things that scare me a bit at the moment.

  2. Happy birthday for yesterday :)

Great to see you up and running. May be now you could write a little something about who you are and why you want to do the course. cheers Sarah

  3. Hi Jane
I have had several attempts to get blogging. Hope the course gives me some incentive to persist. Looking forward to meeting you online...

  4. Hi Jane, I'm a bit nervous I'm not up to this course, just commenting on the blogs will take for ever. Fingers crossed for me and nice to meet you. Nice backround.

  5. One of the things I must make a point of saying is that we aren't expected to comment on every single blog. I think what will happen is people will gravitate to like minds & smaller networks will form within the big group.

I tell you, Lisa...you got to be in with the 'in' crowd LOL

  8. Hi Jane,
Don't worry about playing or about being a newbie. As you can see from the comments above, I think we'll find FO2010 to be a supportive and encouraging group. One thing you could do, if you can find the time, is buddy up with one or two people and meet them online so you can play and discover how you can't break things in relative obscurity.
    Enjoy the course.
    Cheers,
    Chris

isn't it fascinating how such capable and confident people as nmost of us appear to be can feel so very exposed in the ether??

Some of that I think and the overcoming of it,is where the value lies in a course like this.
I'm looking forward to continuing contac. Are you interested in being a 1:1 focus person- because I am and would dearly love someone to practice that with.
    Go well.
    Willie

  12. Hi Willie ... good word 'exposed' ... and I'd love the chance of 1:1 as there are so many others to follow it's a bit overwhelming ... not too sure where to start :)
